Pool Closure

As part of the Power Efficiency Project, pool deck air pressure testing will take place again to measure the success of improvement works made since the last test.

All pools will be closed on Saturday 26 September 2026.

Pools will be open as normal on Sunday 27 September. Other services within the centre will not be impacted.

Whether you’re looking to swim some laps or wanting to splash around, we have a pool for you.

You can enjoy our pools as a member or pop in as a casual visitor.

WSAC pools are great for all - from toddlers, to kids, to adults. We welcome diversity and offer an inclusive safe space. We are proud to be a Watch Around Water accredited facility and a member of the Swim Safe program. Always staffed with qualified and experienced lifeguards to ensure your safety. Accessible with ramps or hoists with staff available to assist you with access.

Indoor 25m Pool

Our heated indoor pool is perfect for year-round swimming, whether it be competitive swim clubs, school groups, lap swimming and walking, or free play. The temperature ranges between 25-28 degrees celsius.

Indoor Leisure Pool | Toddler pool

Build your little one’s confidence around water. Being indoor with a maximum depth of 0.6 m, this is the perfect place to have fun in the water with your child and enjoy the benefits of water play at an early age. The temperature ranges between 28-34 degrees celsius

Program Pool | Learn to Swim Pool

This pool is used regularly for our youngest swimmers learning essential lifesaving swimming skills. This small pool is also ideal for rehabilitation, recovery sessions, gentle water exercises and aqua aerobics. The temperature ranges between 29-35 degrees celsius.

Outdoor 50m Heated Pool

Escape the heat in summer or make the most of the fitness benefits of regular swimming, this heated pool offers the flexibility to do it all. Available for school bookings, swimming carnivals and aquatic fun days. The temperature ranges between 28-29 degrees celsius.

Warm Water Pool

This state-of-the-art warm water pool is custom designed to support our community in rehabilitation, exercise and participation with friends and family. It has fully accessible change rooms including adult changing beds, along with access ramps and hoist.

Watch Around Water

While we have the most dedicated and qualified staff in place, all parents are to stay 100% engaged with their children while attending lessons and while using our pools at the Wangaratta Sport and Aquatic Centre.
