From first somersaults to outdoor adventures, our programs at WSAC are designed to support learning, movement and fun for every age and stage.
We offer a variety of programs including:
School Swimming Program: Curriculum aligned lessons teaching water safety and swim skills for school students.
Active Kids: A soft play program helping children ages 2+ build confidence and coordination.
Bush Nippers: Outdoor water safety and lifesaving skills for primary-aged kids.
Seasonal & Special Programs: Keep an eye out for fun, active programs running throughout the year.

Our Active Kids program is getting a revamp! Come and try Active Kids. A gymnastics focussed program for preschool aged children.
Bush Nippers is a rural inland adaption to the coastal nipper’s education program for primary school aged children, creating 'Everyday Lifesavers' out of Victorian kids, aiming to build lifesaving water safety knowledge and skills in open water environments.
Our School Swimming Program is designed just for school groups, supporting students aged 5 to 13 to build lifelong skills in water safety, stroke technique and confidence. Delivered by friendly, qualified instructors, our lessons are fun, inclusive and curriculum aligned.
Gymnastics is returning to WSAC!
Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic Centre (WSAC) is working with Sport North East and North East Multicultural Association (NEMA) to offer FREE Swimming Lessons for children and adults from all cultural backgrounds. Spots are limited, so don’t miss out! Register your interest today
