Gym Access

Ages 13 to 15:
Gym access between 3pm - 6pm Monday to Friday only
Or during open hours accompanied by an adult or guardian.

No adult or guardian required

24/7 access is not available for members aged under 18.

Teen members are welcome to enjoy the facility outside of these hours for swimming, using the cafe and group fitness classes. Check out the timetable here and book a class or see our picks below.

Health Consult

New teen members must attend an initial gym assessment with a gym instructor and parent/guardian.

In this appointment new members get:

  • Discussion with a qualified instructor about getting started or returning to the gym
  • Program to support 
  • a demonstration of how to use equipment safely

Pools

Swim laps, recover after training or have fun with friends. Enjoy 4 indoor pools, plus the outdoor pool and splash park during summer.

Getting Started

  1. Visit the centre with a parent or guardian.
  2. Chat with the team at the front desk.
  3. Book in for your initial assessment, please note a parent or guardian is required to attend the initial assessment.
  4. Start enjoying WSAC once the initial assessment is finished.  

FAQs

Do I need a parent or guardian to join?

Yes. A parent or guardian must be present when signing up and completing paperwork.

Can I use the gym whenever I want?

Gym access hours depend on your age.

Ages 13 to 15

  • Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm

Ages 16 to 17

Do I receive 24/7 gym access?

No. Members under 18 do not have 24/7 gym access.

What do I need to bring?

If you're coming to the gym

  • Towel (essential)
  • Drink bottle
  • Headphones for music or podcasts 
  • Your membership wristband or tag

 

If you're coming to the pool 

  • Towel
  • Bathers 
  • Goggles for lap swimming
  • Leave your phone in your bag, phone use is not permitted on pool deck
  • Your membership wristband or tag

 

If you're coming to group fitness classes

  • Towel
  • Drink bottle
  • Yoga mat (optional, we provide them)

Getting here and getting home

WSAC is a short walk from Wangaratta High School and Galen Catholic Collage. 

 

Regular bus services stop right outside the centre, making it easy to get here by public transport.
