The Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic Centre (WSAC) is inviting men and boys to take part in a week of free activities as part of Men’s Health Week, running from Monday 9 June to Sunday 15 June 2025.
This year’s theme, “Mind & Movement – Your Health, Your Way”, recognises that health looks different for everyone. Whether it’s through movement, conversation or simply showing up, this week is about creating space for people to connect in ways that feel natural and comfortable.
Research shows that mental and physical health are closely linked. Professor Jane Farmer’s work on rural health highlights how being part of something, like a local event or group, can make a real difference to wellbeing. That’s why WSAC is offering a range of inclusive, male-friendly activities that support both body and mind.
