Get ready to chill for a cause!

We’re hosting our first ever Big Freeze event at WSAC and you’re invited to take part. The Big Freeze raises awareness and funds for life changing research into Motor Neurone Disease (MND). MND attacks and weakens the nerves that communicate between the brain and the muscles needed to move, speak, swallow and breath.

We'll be re-opening the outdoor pool during its usual winter closure period and welcoming the community to support FightMND. 

Since 2014 FightMND has been led the way for Australia in the search to find effective treatments and a cure for Motor Neurone Disease often called "the beast". MND is a complex and challenging condition, but FightMND continues to give Australians the chance to take action and make a difference. 

In support of FightMND, we’ll be transforming the outdoor pool into a winter wonderland, with icy challenges, inflatable fun, and activities for everyone.
