Can my child attend classes on a once-off basis?

Yes, we'd love for you to come down and try on a causal basis.  However, we do suggest you enrol on a term by term basis, as we cannot hold spots for someone.

.

Do you offer make-up classes?

Due to our program running on only one day of the week, we cannot offer make-up classes, so we recommend that parents try to attend all classes every week.

Cancellations made on the day will forfeit their class payment. Where notification of absences are received with 24 or more hours notice, a credit may be issued.

2 weeks notice is required to cancel participation in the program.

What will the classes involve?

The classes will involve a range of fun activities related to a different theme each week that aim to get little bodies moving. The activities will help kids to learn to explore their surroundings and discover new skills in a safe, controlled environment. The kids will get to play on all our gymnastics equipment, including balance beams, bars, trampolines and more!

Do I have to participate with my child?

For the 2-3 year old class, parents are asked to attend with their child to assist on the activities. This is to ensure adequate supervision of all the little ones running around and will help to encourage the children's involvement in the activities.

For the 4 year old gymnastics and soccer classes, we ask that parents step away and allow the children to explore the gymnastics environment on their own, to develop their listening and behaviour skills under careful instruction from our skilled coaches. Parents are welcome to stay and watch in the stadium seating for the duration of the class or relax at our café.

What to wear?

Your child is expected to wear clothes that allow them to move freely such as a leotard/t-shirt and leggings/shorts.

The following items are not suitable to be worn to a gymnastics class;

  • Any clothing that poses a risk to being caught on equipment such as: skirts/dresses, school uniforms, socks/stockings, shoes,

  • jewellery/bulky watches (stud earrings excepted),

  • large hairpieces such as bows/headbands.

It is advised that you bring something warm at the beginning of class that can be removed after warmup activities as it can get quite cold in the basketball stadium during winter months.

Long hair must be tied up at all times whilst participating in gymnastics classes. Long, loose hair is dangerous in gymnastics classes due to the risk of it catching on equipment or getting tangled during gymnastics skills.
