We will be celebrating the official opening of new gym Thursday 1 June 2023!

During the construction of your brand new gym you can still access group fitness classes, cardio and gym equipment, pools, basketball courts, squash courts, the cafe and our friendly instructors and support staff. 24/7 Gym Access will also still be available to full members.

To thank you for your patience and any inconvenience we are halving the price of your membership! That means 50% Off Your Membership until the new gym is opened, plus an extra month until 29 June 2023*

The WSAC team will continue to support your fitness journey and use the existing gym and a temporary gym studio until your brand new expanded gym is opened.

From Thursday 9 March 2023 during transition phase your 50% discount your direct debits will be reduced to 50% until the 29th June 2023.

Pre paid members will be credited the equivalent value in additional weeks and will be applied to their membership.

If there are any further delays, we will add further discounts.

Customers and staff have provided feedback that the current fees and charges could be improved to enhance ease of understanding, flexibility, and accessibility.

From 1 May 2023 Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic Centre Memberships Fees and Charges will change for the better for the whole community. 

These new fees and charges were adopted by the Rural City of Wangaratta at the council meeting held Tuesday 28 March 2023 and can be viewed in the Meeting Minutes on the council's website. Item 13.3

Pool Only (includes 4 pools)

Gym Only (includes a brand new multifunctional space and first class equipment gym) 

Group Fitness Only (includes access to over 50 professional instructor led group fitness classes, including aqua and reformer pilates)

All Access (includes access to all 4 pools, gym, group fitness classes, including aqua and reformer pilates)

Your Temporary Gym Studio remains open until your new gym opens on 1 June 2023!

24/7 Access is now open out of hours.

During the transition phase of the old gym to new gym space, 7 of the Reformer Pilates beds have been moved from the existing Reformer Pilates Studio to the Cafe Meeting Room, which has been converted into a temporary Reformer Pilates Studio.

To thank you for any inconvenience caused, all Reformer Pilates Classes will be FREE to existing WSAC members!*

*As the number of beds available will be limited to only 7 during the transition period, this free offer will be made available to existing members only.

24hr Gym Access is available to full members.

Applicable during after Centre Hours only.

24hr Gym Access Door is now located to the right of the main entry point near the outdoor netball courts.

Access to toilets during the transitions period during after hours is unavailable inside the centre. Please use the outdoor toilet block adjoining the carpark between the centre and the tennis courts.

Your favourite group fitness classes will run as per the normal timetable.

*Please note the Reformer Pilates classes will move to a temporary studio next to the cafe.

Where your cardio and gym equipment is located will change:

1. The old gym closed 12 noon Tuesday 28 February 2023 to allow for the existing gym equipment to be safely moved to the temporary gym studio. 

2. The temporary gym studio opened Wednesday 8 March 2023

3.  Temporary gym studio will remain open until 29 June 2023

4. The Temporary Pilates Studio and class sizes reduced to a capacity of 7.
