We are so proud to be delivering Life Saving Victoria’s Swim and Survive program.

Swim and Survive lessons are open to everyone from six months of age to a hundred and six! Our program runs 48 weeks of the year. 

We firmly believe that everyone should learn vital swimming and water safety skills so they can recreate safely, both in and around the water.

Our team of passionate teachers are highly skilled with diverse backgrounds, and all hold current accreditation to teach swimming, many specializing in areas such as Infants and Preschoolers, Access and Inclusion, Competitive Strokes, Adults, and Coaching. Additionally, all of our teachers hold current CPR, and Working with children checks.

There are five levels to choose from.

Wonder: 6 months - 3 years old

Wonder is the first stage in a lifetime of fun and safety in the water. Designed for children aged 6 – 36 months, this program will develop water familiarisation, exploration and water safety skills whilst in the care of a parent or carer.

Wonder uses songs, games and activities to teach children a variety of skills including entries, floating, breathing and movement.

It's as simple as Wonder 1, 2, 3!

Courage: 3 - 5 years old

Courage helps develop water confidence in children aged 3 to 5 years. This program guides children through fun and safe activities, gradually building upon their breathing, floating and movement skills; supporting and encouraging independence.

The Courage program progresses from initial parental participation to children developing trust and learning through interacting independently with the instructor.

Our children build Courage they move from Courage 1 through to Courage 5!

Active: 5 - 14 years old

Active teaches children aged 5 – 14 years old a range of skills and knowledge to develop swimming, water safety, survival and basic rescue skills.

Children will learn how to safely enter and exit the water, survival techniques, underwater and rescues skills, and develop an efficient and effective stroke technique.

Active Awards start with 3 "development" awards & 7 core awards.

Our adult learn to swim program caters to all ages and abilities. Our adult lessons help those with limited or no swimming experience to get started and build confidence but can also cater to those who wish to increase endurance and refine technique. Beginner, intermediate and advanced classes are available. 

Our instructors are all AUSTSWIM qualified and the program has a focus on individual learning which ensures it best meets the needs of all participants.
